that the
Pitch Perfect star had been quietly seeing comedian
Alex Edelman for "several months" at the time. "It doesn't seem casual," a source told
People after the pair were spotted driving around Los Angeles together, adding that the actress is "very private" and that she and the funnyman "enjoy date nights at low-key restaurants that are not your typical celeb hangouts." Kendrick has also reportedly met her new beau's mom.
